2007
The Inception
Founded on 24th April 2007, by Dr. Udayashankara H.G., Prashamani Hospital was born from a vision to bridge the rural healthcare gap.Inspired by the PURA concept, the hospital was established to bring advanced, affordable medical care to the Malnad region.It marked the beginning of a mission to deliver accessible, quality healthcare closer to home.

Expansion
In 2008, we introduced the region’s first private ambulance service, strengthening our emergency response capabilities. This milestone ensured faster patient transport and timely medical care for surrounding rural communities. It marked a significant step towards delivering reliable 24×7 emergency healthcare services.

Advancement
In 2009, we established a dedicated Operation Theatre for Orthopedic Surgeries, enhancing our surgical capabilities.
This enabled us to perform advanced bone and joint procedures locally with precision and safety.
It was a major step towards providing specialized surgical care within the region.

Innovation
In 2010, we introduced the first computerized X-ray facility in Koppa, marking a breakthrough in diagnostic imaging. This advancement enabled faster, more accurate diagnosis for better treatment outcomes.

2013
Advanced Diagnostics Milestone
In 2013, we introduced Ultrasound Scanning with 2D Echo and Color Doppler, enhancing our diagnostic excellence. This enabled comprehensive imaging of organs and precise evaluation of cardiac function and blood flow. It marked a significant step in bringing advanced, multi-specialty diagnostics to the region.

Major Expansion
In 2016, we launched Koppa Diagnostic & CT Scan Centre, introducing the first CT Scan facility in the region. This milestone brought advanced imaging and faster, more accurate diagnosis closer to the community. It marked a transformative step in delivering world-class diagnostic services in rural healthcare.

2021
Public Health Leadership
In 2021, our hospital became the first private hospital in Chikkamagaluru district to receive a COVID Vaccination Hospital ID. We provided safe and efficient COVID-19 vaccination services, including free vaccination for over 700 underprivileged individuals. This milestone reflects our commitment to community care and leadership during critical times.

2022
Critical Care Advancement
In 2022, we established the first Laminar Airflow Operation Theatre in the region, setting new standards in surgical safety.
We also introduced the first ventilator, along with an advanced anesthesia workstation, centralized oxygen supply, and patient monitoring systems.
This milestone significantly enhanced our ability to deliver safe surgeries and advanced critical care services locally.

Surgical Advancement
In 2023, we introduced advanced laparoscopic instruments, enhancing our surgical capabilities. This enabled minimally invasive procedures with faster recovery and reduced pain for patients. It marked a step forward in delivering modern, patient-friendly surgical care.
